Fellowship Breakfasts— Second and Fourth Sundays, 9 –9:40 a.m.

Before Sunday School we provide a full breakfast usually consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits & gravy, grits and fries.  It is a great deal for $3 adults and $1 for children.  

Church-wide Lake Day—2006 Report

A special thanks to Christy, Paul and Grace Godwin as well as Bobby & Lisa Ford & Prentice Ware for all of their help in making Lake Day an enjoyable time.  The heat kept a lot of people away, but with dominoes, new members, CPYF and guests we had a great time of food and fellowship.   Don’t miss out next year!

Dominoes, bridge, board games, Uno and more will brighten up a Friday or Saturday evening with great Christian Fellowship.  First-timers will find a buffet of finger foods for all to enjoy.  Our next game night will be   .

 You will not find a finer meal anywhere for the price.  Our hospitality committee does a fantastic job preparing meals like grandma used to make.  It is a real treat!  Join us for Sonshiners February 20, at noon. 

                 We are known as a hospitable church.  Look around at Sonshiners, the annual Spring Fling, or a Bereavement meal.  Hospitality is not all about eating either.  It is an attitude of welcoming that must continue to open our doors to people living in an often inhospitable world.  Let us continue to be a breath of fresh air whether it is sharing our building or just having fun together. 

             Christians have more reason to enjoy God’s world.  When we fellowship and re-create together we will be there for one another when the difficult times of life present themselves.   Let us be known as the church that loves to have fun!

Texans and others love to play “42.”  We have a dedicated group of adults who really enjoy playing every Thursday from 7—Noon.  There will be some biscuits, sausage or bacon and coffee available.  Come and enjoy.
