Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Marshall

 You can arrange to meet with the pastor by calling the church office, obtain a copy of the Confession of Faith (available in the church office), look up the Confession (online), and or attend the Cumberland Presbyterian Basics class when offered.  

We have an invitation each Sunday morning where one may make a profession of faith (choose to become a Christian), or transfer from another congregation by promise of church letter, reaffirmation of faith.   Also, candidates for church membership may present themselves before the church session which meets at 6 p.m. on 3rd Sundays.

We are a distinct denomination within the Presbyterian family of Christian Churches.  The original separation was in 1810.  Presbyterian denominations differ, but Cumberlands are “free will” Presbyterians versus strict Calvinism.   More details

Worship Services begin at 10:50 each Sunday morning.   If you are unable to attend due to illness, care-giving or work, you are invited to listen on KMHT 1450 from 11– Noon.  Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m.   Additional, special services during Lent and Advent are announced seasonally.   Visitors are always welcome and a nursery is provided.   More details
