Congratulations Elsie Pugh!  Read about Women’s Ministry Sunday, Elsie Pugh, and Mary Jo Schnorbus on the Women’s Ministry Page.

Congratulations to Samantha Herman for being elected vice-president of the National Junior Honor Society. Her proud parents are Ray and Kathleen Herman.

Congratulations to Natalie Cucinotta who was in the paper for receiving at least a three on three different AP tests.  This is not an easy academic thing to do.  Also, Natalie has been accepted to her first choice school, the University of Alabama.

All three of CPC’s senior girls were on the MHS Homecoming Court: Natalie Cucinotta, Hope Rustenhaven, and Morgan Thomas.

Welcome to Arlis and Ingrid Elkins.

It is with great joy we welcome Arlis and Ingrid Elkins into the full fellowship of our church family.  Both came forward Sunday morning on profession of faith.  Arlis received the sacrament of baptism and Ingrid reaffirmed her baptism as a child in the Dutch Reformed Church of Canada.  The Elkins have been attending for the past year and have become involved in the church's ministry.  We know you will find ways to extend the hand of fellowship to welcome them.   They reside at 4406 Fitzgerald Street and their  telephone number is 903-938-1440.

….And the Lord added to their number day by day.

WELCOME TO KAREN WILEY

We are indeed happy that Karen Wiley came forward at the close of worship last Sunday to present herself for membership in our congregation.  She comes on reaffirmation of faith and transfer of letter from Port Caddo Baptist Church.  Many thought Karen was already a member since she has worshipped with us a number of years and has been involved through Angel Food, Bunnie Mae Pugh Circle, Finance Committee, and other areas of the church’s ministry.  It is a joy to welcome her into the full fellowship of our church family.  Karen and her husband Mike live at 102 Pine Haven Rd. (Shadowood) and their telephone number is 903-927-2989.
