We are indeed happy that Sandra Harris came forward on Sunday morning ( January 27) to become a member of this congregation by reaffirmation of faith and transfer of membership.

Sandra and her husband, Dr. Marvin Harris, have been attending our church for several years, and have become very involved in the ministry of the church.  Sandra serves on the Hospitality Committee, is a member of Gladys Bryson Circle, sings in the choir, attends Kerygma Class, and works in the Food Pantry.  They reside at 404 Denise Dr. and the telephone number is 903/938-3616.  Please find ways to welcome Sandra into the full fellowship of the church.

We are indeed happy that David Cunningham came forward at the close of worship last Sunday (May 18)to become a part of this church by reaffirmation of faith and transfer of letter from another church.  David has been worshipping with us for quite some time.  He is the father of Christy Godwin and grandfather of Claire Godwin.  We encourage you to find ways of welcoming David into the full fellowship of our congregation.  He resides at 3300 S. DAVID AND DIANNAH LARSON

We are indeed happy that David and Diannah Larson came forward on Sunday morning (July 13) to join our church on reaffirmation of faith and transfer of membership.  The Larsons have been worshiping with us for several months, and we know you will find ways to welcome them into the full fellowship of this congregation.  They have two sons, Gabriel DeWitt (31) in Dallas and Matthew Larson (18) in Marshall. We are glad to officially welcome Robert Garen to our church family.    He comes to us on Reaffirmation of Faith from First Baptist Flower Mound, Texas. He has worshiped with us for several years now and has played softball too. He is married to our own Kim Hughes Garen. They are the proud parents of Connor. Be sure and find your own way to welcome Robert.

Carl and Roslyn Groen

We are indeed happy to welcome Carl and Roslyn Groen who came forward last Sunday to place their membership in our church on reaffirmation of faith.  Roslyn is a native of Marshall and grew up here.  She was Roslyn Parrish and is a sister to Pat and Don Parrish, whom many of you know.  Carl worked in the oil industry, and they have lived in many different places, but decided to return to Marshall to retire.  They are the parents of two adult children, a son in Houston and a daughter in California.  They have been attending our church for a number of months now, and we know you will find ways to welcome them into the full fellowship of our congregation.  They reside at 105 Kelly Court (Shadowood) and their telephone number is 903-938-4514.
