For a number of years, we have discussed the need for an elevator, especially to get people from the sanctuary level to Hutchins Hall, and vice versa.  In researching the cost of an elevator, we found this portable wheelchair life, which will be less expensive and meet most of the same needs.  Though it is called a wheelchair lift, people can stand in it as well.  It will take a few structural changes, but not nearly as much as an elevator.  Also, if we should decide to install an elevator in the future, this portable lift could be used in other parts of the building:  the stage, sanctuary, etc. 

Arnos Class will begin a study on the book of Romans using the Interpretation Bible Study and the Serendipity Bible. Jenann Leslie is the teacher.
