CUMBERLAND BOOK CLUB

The Plague by Albert Camus (September 25); March by Geraldine Brooks (October 23); Zorro by Isabel Allende (November 20); and Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas and Timothy J. Keller (January 22).  The annual Christmas party and book exchange will be held on December 4.  Save these dates for more discussions.  The club  meets the 4th Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the conference room.

Prayer Shawl  Ministries

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS CAMPAIGN GOING FORWARD

The Capital Improvement Campaign, which was launched over a year ago, was put  on hold because of the budget crisis in the spring of this year.  At its meeting on Aug. 22 the Session voted to promote the program and give our people an opportunity to contribute to one or more of the six projects.
